RPAYC is proud to welcome Pantaenius as the naming rights sponsor for the 3 day regatta with the continued support from Sydney Marine Brokerage for the NSW ORC Championship.
The Pittwater Regatta originated back in 1888 and has seen a variation of race formats, classes and challenges. Today the regatta is held annually in February and held over 3-days. It is a regatta for all sailors, offering a multitude of race formats, course areas and classes.
The very popular 5 Heads Challenge Race is on Saturday – with a stunning 20nm mile race through Pittwater and Broken Bay at the entrance to Hawkesbury River.
There will be fun, games, and music onshore throughout the regatta.

Day 1 highlights 2025
The Pantaenius Pittwater Regatta is a 3-day event that includes the NSW ORC Championship and the Pittwater Cup Series 2026.
- The NSW ORC Championship, supported by Sydney Marine Brokerage, will be held from 13 to 15 February and consists of an offshore passage race, offshore windward/leeward racing, and inshore racing.
- On Saturday, 14 and Sunday 15 February, the Pittwater Cup Series will take place. The Pittwater Cup Series will include racing in Pittwater and the Estuary (Broken Bay), with ORC and PHS scoring for divisions.
- The Grand Soleil Yachts Cup will be held over 2 days
There will be live entertainment for crews, families and friends to enjoy their time onshore after racing! Special Prizes open to all, Modus Pop-Up Bar & Specials Beer of the Weekend and ‘Halyards’ Bar and Bistro will be open throughout the regatta serving breakfast through to dinner. Saturday evening sees a Crew party and BBQ, book tickets below. Following racing on Sunday afternoon, there will be a presentation to crown the winners of all divisions!

- Post race – Boat of the Day Presentation Winners, & $100 Coffee Barrel Draw
- Pop-Up Can Bar
- Spinnaker Hoisting Competition (post racing)
- Post race, DJ Vibes 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Sunday 15 February 2026
- Breakfast is available from 0800hrs
- $100 Coffee Draw, 0930hrs
- ORC NSW Championship, 3 x Windward/Leeward races, Palm Beach Circle, 1130hrs
- Pittwater Cup inc Grand Soleil Cup, 2 x inshore races, 1130hrs
- Super 40 Series, 2 x W/L inshore & 1 long passage race, 1130hrs
- Pop-Up Can Bar
- Post race celebration – Presentation
- Music 4:00pm – 9:30pm
