TUESDAY 27 FEBRUARY

In support of International Women’s Day 2024, participants in the regular Women’s Tuesday Twilight race, scheduled for 27 February, are encouraged to don a touch of purple.

The theme for this year’s IWD is #inspireinclusion.

After racing, there is an incredible opportunity to hear from some of Australia’s top female sailors Katie Spithill and Alice Tarnawski. So be sure to book a table and come along to the race and stay for the Q&A!

Join the Cruising community at RPAYC for First Friday at the Alfred’s.

Hear from guest speakers on the challenging and dangerous experiences of life as a clearance diver.

Book your table online and select from a delicious menu, updated with new and tasty main and dessert options each month.

This “Champagne and Collections” event is the first, in what is hoped to become a regular feature in the RPAYC calendar.  Open to members only under the trial, there are a limited number of tickets available.

Enjoy a complimentary Champagne and guided walking tour, led by our passionate and knowledgeable volunteer Archives Committee members.

Our archive experts will guide you around the collection of significant antiques, art works and trophies that make up the collection we have at RPAYC and demonstrate our incredible history as one of the oldest and most prestigious yacht clubs in Australia.

FRIDAY 24 MAY

Join fellow members for the lighting of the fire from 5.30pm in the Edinburgh Bar and Lounge.

The lighting of the fire is an annual tradition that signifies the start of the Winter season of sailing. 

Once the fire is lit, the Edinburgh Lounge and Bar is open every Friday evening with live music and happy hour members specials. 

THURSDAY 23 MAY

Come along and be a part of the Cancer Council’s “Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea” at The Alfred’s.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. Every dollar raised makes an incredible difference to those impacted by cancer.

Tickets are $35 per person and includes:

  • a $5 donation to Cancer Council
  • A delicious morning tea of gourmet finger sandwiches and delightful cakes

Time: 1030am

The bar will be open to purchase champagne and drinks.

Further cash donations can be made on the day to our activities team members. Come along and make a difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer. Bookings opening soon
