What is Alfred’s Community Sailing (ACS)?
The Club has a long history of delivering a sailing experience to support and enhance the life of people in need. Supported by RPAYC, the ACS program provides sailing and family days for veterans and the community.
This program has been life changing for participants, building social networks and self-confidence from exciting, safe and fun days on the water. Over 4,000 participants have been part of the program since it’s inception in 2013.
ACS needs your help to enable it to continue and expand to other community groups and individuals in need. RPAYC invites you to be a part of the Alfred’s Community Sailing Gala Dinner on Friday 28 October, 2022.
- Current and past members of the Australian Defence Force, through
- The Invictus Games Foundation,
- Soldier On, and Saltwater Veterans
- First Responders through Fortem Australia
- NSW Emergency Workers through Emerge &See
- Disabled sailors through Sailability
- Marine Rescue
- Young people as part of their school Wellness Program
- Other groups including women who are victims of domestic violence are looking to be part of the sailing experience that the program offers.
ACS Fundraising Gala Dinner
On Friday 28 October, the club is holding the ACS Gala Dinner an special event to raise funds for the Alfred’s Community Sailing Program “Helping people rehabilitate through sailing”.
While generously supported by the RPAYC, ACS is in need of funds to enable the program to grow and continue to develop new initiatives to help people in need.
The RPAYC will be transformed into a phenomenal, one-night-only, Glamour on the High Seas experience with something for everyone to enjoy, and we can’t wait to celebrate the ACS Gala Dinner in proper RPAYC style.
The Gala Dinner will include a superb 4 course dinner, silent and live auctions, and live entertainment. Tickets are available for individual bookings or tables of 10 as well as Platinum, Gold, and Silver Corporate Packages.

The RPAYC ACS veteran and community program is pleased to offer 3 levels of corporate sponsorship for the Gala Dinner:

These packages offer a tiered level of support for the ACS Program and represent significant value and benefit to your company while helping the ACS program and most importantly its participants.
Individual & Group Tables
Tickets are available $300.00 per seat with tables of 10 available. Payment made at time of booking.










FAQs
Each table seats 10 people. The maximum number of seats that can be purchased in one transaction is 10. Payment is made at time of booking. (Payments via the online system only or for Corporate and tables of 10 via Direct Debit). RPAYC Member accounts n/a.
Platinum Corporate tables seat 12 people.
Gold & Silver Corporate tables seat 10 people.
Corporate Package Booking payments can be made at the time of booking or a invoice for Direct Debit requested by contacting Reception on 9998 3700.
All donations made via the Australian Sports Foundation Alfred’s Community Sailing Project are tax deductable.

A silent and live auctions will occur on the night.
Silent auction items will be open to bid on from doors opening till the serving of mains. There after the winning bid will be contacted by a volunteer on the night.
Prize Donations:
The ACS Committee welcomes items for both the silent auction and live auction. Experiences, Products, Get-A-Ways, Services.
Ticketing refund terms:
A 100% refund of the ticket price (not including booking fees) will be made for cancellations prior to 28 September 2022.
There is no refund applicable on Corporate Packages.

Parking on the night is available at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club.
