General Manager's Message - COVID-19 Restrictions

Dear Members,

Due to today’s NSW Government advice for NSW, if you live or work in Woollahra, Waverley, City of Sydney or Randwick local government areas (LGA), please do not visit the Club until restrictions are lifted.

Changes to capacity
Halyards Bistro and Bar remain open with restricted numbers re-introduced to abide by the 1 person per 4 square metre rule.

Mandatory face masks
All members, visitors and staff must wear a mask indoors whilst at the Club, unless eating or drinking. Please bring your own masks when visiting the Club.  RPAYC branded logo masks are available for purchase from reception for $20 each.

No standing while drinking
A reminder that members and their guests must remain seated while drinking, physically distance where possible and are advised to utilise the hand sanitisers placed around the Club.

If you are feeling unwell please do not visit the Club, get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.  For more information, visit the NSW Government website.

Sailing
At this stage all racing will continue until next Friday (2 July 2021) and will now be non-pointscore.

Please advise any of your crew who live or work in the LGA’s mentioned, that they must not come to the Club or participate in sailing during the period of these restrictions.

The school holiday sail training program will continue next week as usual.

Tender Service
The Club’s tender service will continue to operate.  Please allow only crew members from the same boat on the tender at any one time.  We recommend all passengers wear a mask.

Restrictions are temporary
Unless extended, the restrictions will expire at 11.59pm on Friday, 2 July, 2021.

Please look after yourself and those around you.

Kind regards,

Craig Evans
General Manager
