Discover Sailing at the Alfreds!

Welcome to the Alfreds Discover Sailing & Training Academy! Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is one of Australia’s leading clubs in the sport of sailing and is regarded as one of the premier yacht clubs in Australia.

Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club offers training pathways for kids, teens and adults from the beginner stages through advanced racing. Training is delivered by accredited instructors and coaches, following the ‘Discover Sailing’ and ‘Club Participation Programs’ frameworks. We will provide a safe, fun, and affordable environment for you to try sailing.

The Club’s sailing program and activities are second to none. Our professional administrators ensure that events are innovative, safe and user orientated with a varied program year round, from Yacht Races, Cruising activities, Centreboard (OTB) Races, Youth Development Academy and Sail Training for all levels of sailing.
