Join your fellow cruising community for a wonderful meal and presentation from speaker Murray Glaze.
Murray is an actuary, former board member of RPAYC, light opera singer and the closest person that the Cruising Division has to an intellectual.
Murray is also an amateur astronomer and has volunteered to explain to us what we are looking at when we are lying on the decks of our boats on balmy summer evenings, or looking up at the stars on some overnight passage. He will explain how to easily locate in the night sky planets. Stars and Galaxies.
By the end of his presentation and Murray’s novel practical demonstration of Cosmological scale, you will very likely feel a real sense of awe and wonder about the staggering and barely comprehensible size of the Cosmos in which you live.

- If you would like to book more than 2 people please complete the form for each couple. Please be sure to click on the “Submit” button at the end of the form and await the acknowledgement window to confirm. If in doubt, please make another booking or phone reception to confirm your booking is entered – duplicate bookings will be deleted, not charged.

Friday’s First Friday dinner will be part of the Pittwater Regatta celebrations.
Members and guests can make a reservation for dinner online or by calling reception at 9998 3700.
A section of the Terrace (weather permitting) will be saved for Cruising to enjoy the evening and live music by Emma Salisbury 5pm – 7pm.
