Notice – Dicko Cup Entrants,
The annual Dicko Cup Weekend starts tomorrow at 1200hrs.
Due to the current NSW Health Restrictions in place, no more than 30 people can gather outside in a public place (which includes public parks, reserves, beaches, public gardens and spaces).
Please note, this unfortunately now means that the onshore BBQ and Social events scheduled for the Dicko Cup, have now been postponed for 2021. It was hoped that these restrictions might have been eased prior to this weekend, regrettably this has not been the case.
It is a personal choice if you wish to disembark for the beach. However, the winners of the Dicko Cup will still be announced by Alfreds 1 on Saturday with prizes dropped off at boats. Overall winner of the Dicko Cup will still be announced at a prize giving in the Clubhouse, on Sunday afternoon.
Despite this unfortunate announcement, we hope you will still choose to participate in two days of fun racing.
Additionally, please bear in mind, to be considered in the running to win the Dicko Cup, boats must race both days. Hence, please advise the Sailing Office (via email) if you wish to be in included in the Dicko Cup overall, so that the Race Committee knows which boats will be in the running to win prizes!
