Transition to cashless transactions at Halyards Bistro/Bar & Edinburgh Bar

As a further operational efficiency, the Club will be transitioning to cashless transactions in Halyards & E Bar from Monday 7th August. With the vast majority of transactions already being cashless, in our day to day lives, we feel now is an appropriate time to make this transition. This change will save a number of administrative hours per week for our reduced administrative team. 
To assist members with placing transactions on their account we have worked with our point of sale provider to create a Digital Membership Card which may be stored on your phone. Therefore members will be able to place transactions on their account by utilising the Membership Swipe/Proximity Card, currently being used, or the new Digital Membership Card stored on your phone. Please note the Membership Swipe/Proximity Card will still be required for carpark gates and entry into certain areas of the Clubhouse. 
Finally, to ensure that only Members are benefiting from the Member discount, with food & beverage purchases, Members will be required to place the purchases on their Membership account and must present their Membership Swipe/ Proximity Card or Digital Membership Card to do so. 
Information on how to download the Digital Membership Cards will be released over the coming weeks enabling all members to trial the new technology prior to the 7th of August.
