Sailability Crystal Bay & RPAYC lend a hand with “circumnavigation”

Sailability Pittwater (Rowland Reserve) sailors, Maria, Lindsay and Alan, circumnavigated Scotland Island in access 2.3m dinghy’s, ticking off a lifetime ambition for the three sailors.

The event was planned and perfectly executed by long time RPAYC member Mike Woolley & his band of volunteers including several RPAYC members, with support boats provided by the Club, members and Sailability Crystal Bay. A 12 kt SE breeze made for perfect sailing and presented the usual challenges on the lee side.

Maria enjoyed this challenge so much she declared “I would like to do it again next year!”.
