SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is establishing a ‘Youth Focus Group’. This focus group aims to enliven club youth and juniors in many ways; by giving voice and communication from youth; leading youth activities; developing leadership skills in young members; give opportunities to young members to develop themselves as sailors and people; together with senior committee mentoring partnerships.
Up to 10 members will be invited to join the Youth Focus Group, which is a fantastic opportunity for Youth Members to be involved with providing a voice for the future of the club. RPAYC is seeking expressions of interest from youth members to join this initiative!
• Aged between 16 and 23, and active RPAYC member.
• Regularly involved with Sailing through Yacht Racing, Centreboard Racing, Sail Training, and Volunteering.
The group will meet on a semi-regular basis, with support from the focus group mentor, and RPAYC Senior Head Instructor, Niall Powers.
