RPAYC sailors at the 2026 Wildcat Regatta

October 2 – October 5
Great Lakes Sailing Club

The 2026 Wildcat Regatta wrapped up over the October long weekend at Great Lakes Sailing Club, with RPAYC sailors taking on four days of competitive catamaran racing. Now in its 53rd running, Wildcat brought together sailors from across Australia for a weekend of racing, camping and community, with a fleet of 100 boats.

There were some fantastic results for our sailors, led by John Forbes and Sam Tonn, who took 1st place in the Hobie 18 fleet. Grant Pellew and Lily Smith secured 3rd in the F18 fleet, while Rod Waterhouse also finished on the podium with 3rd in the Hobie 14 fleet. Beau White placed 8th in the F18 fleet; Nick Elliott and Angus Musgrove finished 14th, and Luke Ratcliff and Nick Elliott placed 17th. Bridget Bolewski finished 5th in the Hobie 14 fleet, including a race win in the final race. Congratulations to all our RPAYC sailors who competed at Wildcat!
