One of the highlights of travelling to regattas is catching up with fellow RPAYC members away from home.
With Airlie Beach Race Week 2026 just around the corner, Verity Powers and I thought it would be a great opportunity to organise a casual RPAYC get-together during the week.
We already know a number of RPAYC yachts will be competing, including Seremisa, La Troisième Mi-Temps, Romance, Antipodes and Banter, with hopefully a few more joining the fleet before the first start.
We also know many of our members will be racing as crew on other boats throughout the regatta. If that’s you, we’d love to see you there as well. This invitation is open to all RPAYC members, their crews, family and friends who’ll be in Airlie.
There’ll be no speeches or formalities—just a relaxed evening to enjoy a drink, swap a few stories from the day’s racing and catch up with fellow members in one of Australia’s great sailing destinations.
