Round 3 of the Centreboard Spring Series saw 15 boats take to Little Pond for another action-packed day of racing. Conditions began with a steady north-westerly breeze, which proved tricky at times with plenty of shifts throughout the afternoon, before easing off and returning late in the day. The mixed fleet included Optis, Lasers, a Finn, and a 29er
Optimist Division
• Open Division: Lavinia Liu (Sailfish) claimed overall honours, winning two of the three races. Yufu Wang (UFO) took out the remaining race and finished 2nd overall, with Lucas Yuning (Flash) rounding out the podium in 3rd.
• Intermediate Division: Congratulations to Willow Murray (Wind in the Willows), who won two races — including one in the Open Division — to secure overall victory. Courtney Harrison (Opti Mc Opti Face) placed 2nd, while Jiacheng Liu (Scout) finished 3rd.
Mixed Single-Handed Handicap Division
Consistency paid off for Phil Malcolm (Upside), who secured 1st overall.
