Series 5 Thailand Platu Championship 2026

The Thailand Platu Championship 2026 concluded its series at Ocean Marina Jomtien in Pattaya, Thailand, with Easy Tiger Racing winning the regatta.
Final Day of Round 5
Breeze was as predicted, somewhere between SE and E.
Thankfully the RO managed each race to be conducted in a steady direction with slight variations.
Lead changed on multiple occasions both up and down wind.
Aaron Taunt & Sachon Boontham had some challenging moments, while Colin Simonds had his best day today and will certainly be a threat for Round 6.
Nathan Masopust had an average day however still secured 3rd place. Nathan has placed on the podium the last 3 Rounds and will bounce back.
Ithinai Yingsiri on Pine Pacific was always in the mix but couldn’t bridge the gap to Chris Way who took the Round 5 win.
A special shout out to Scott Finsten and Ocean Marina Jomtien who have continued their support of the Platu fleet in Thailand
