  • How much antifoul do you apply onto my boat?
    We apply 2 full coats of antifoul with a 3rd coat around the waterline, leading & trailing edges.
  • Do You Deliver Vessels?
    The Club can assist Full Members with Boatyard Delivery for vessels located within the Alfred’s Marina or within the Tender Zone. Club Staff are prohibited from delivering, driving, towing &/or manoeuvring Non-Member vessels.
  • Can I drop off my boat the day before?

Non-Members unable to deliver their vessel into the travel lift slings on the day of haul out are encouraged to take advantage of our Discounted Work Berth Rate Offer (50% off Casual Marina Berth Rate) for One Night Prior to their lift in the lay-up berth.

  • When will my Lift/Launch time be allocated?
    Lift & launch times are allocated the business day prior to the scheduled movement date. Once allocated, lift/launch times will be communicated to you via email &/or phone call.
  • Do you have lifts for inspections, pre-purchase or insurance surveys?
    Quickslips are one-hour bookings in the Travel Lift slings. Depending on work requirements & availability, we also offer extended hangs in slings (>1 hour to overnight). Pricing is dependent on the vessel’s LOA & amount of time the travel lift is in use. Please contact the Boatyard Office to discuss pricing & availability further.
  • How do I pay If I am unable to be there on the day of launch?
    Member bookings are invoiced to the member’s Club account, due at the end of the following month. Non-member bookings must be paid in full prior to launch. For Non-Members, Credit card details are to be supplied on the haul out agreement to secure the booking. Non-Members failing to supply their credit card details will have a pro-forma invoice created for the prospective works, payable in advance. Our payment options include EFTPOS (1% surcharge for non-member credit cards), BPay, & Bank Transfer, with details included on the invoice.
  • Can I do my own work?
    Full Members are eligible for the DIY Weekend Package. Members must complete the BIA Marine Card & DIY Boatyard Induction. Non-members are strictly forbidden from conducting DIY work. Working on the vessel’s decks whilst in the boatyard is prohibited.
  • Can I do my own water blasting?
    Only trained Club staff are authorised to operate the water blaster. Personal water blasters are strictly prohibited.
  • How do you antifoul the boat stand pad areas and under the keel?
    Each vessel is allocated 1.5 hours in the Travel Lift to apply antifoul to the pads and under keel areas. With prior arrangements, the Travel Lift can be hired for $275 per hour for additional time needed for keel repairs &/or additional drying time.
  • Can I stay onboard overnight my yacht whilst she is in the boatyard?

Remaining onboard vessels whilst in the boatyard is strictly prohibited.

  • I Would Like to stay on at The Alfred’s Marina after my antifoul service.

If you would like to stay longer, please advise at the time of your booking or by contacting the Waterfront Office requesting a casual berth. Please call 9998 3741 or email waterfront@rpayc.com.au.
Please note: The Club are unable to assist with non-member deliveries to/from the vessel’s allocated berth.

  • Do you sell antifoul?
    Yes, the boatyard can supply antifoul with costings applied per litre (minimum 1L quantity).
