RPAYC currently holds a Level 3 Clean Marina accreditation and Fish Friendly certification. The International Clean Marina Program is an accreditation program that encourages environmental compliance and the use of best management practices for marinas.
Our Club is due for reaccreditation and last week the audit was undertaken by BMT overseen by the team from Marina Industries Association.
Over three hours, BMT meticulously reviewed a comprehensive list of accreditation requirements, including licenses, regulatory compliance, initiatives, risk mitigation, operational controls, facility maintenance, policies, procedures, and record keeping. A site inspection was also undertaken.
Our initiatives, risk mitigation measures, policies, and facility maintenance should result in the Club being reaccredited again as a Level 3 Clean Marina. We’ll keep members informed of the outcome.
