ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Head Sailing Coach to lead and develop our year-round training program. This pivotal role focuses on attracting and retaining new sailors while supporting those who wish to enhance their skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Design and implement innovative training programs that cater to a wide range of sailing needs, encouraging participation across junior, youth, and adult levels.
LEADERSHIP: Support the training and development of instructors, ensuring high-quality instruction aligned with Australian Sailing guidelines and ratios.
AMBASSADOR: Act as a key representative of the club, promoting RPAYC’s ethos and maintaining our reputation as a leading sailing club locally and nationally.

Digital Content & Marketing Coordinator
What You’ll Be Doing:
🎥 Content Creation & Media Production
- Capture stunning photography and video of sailing events, social functions, and promotions.
- Edit and produce creative content using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut, and Canva.
- Develop marketing materials and campaign visuals that reflect our club’s vibrant personality.
📱 Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage and grow RPAYC’s online presence across our website and social media platforms.
- Plan and execute engaging content calendars using Meta Business Manager, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp.
- Stay ahead of trends to optimise content for reach and engagement.
📰 Communications & Public Relations
- Write and distribute newsletters, press releases, and event reports.
- Craft copy for club signage, brochures, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with media, sponsors, and industry bodies to amplify our visibility.
📈 Marketing Support & Coordination
- Support the implementation of marketing strategies across departments.
- Provide comms support for club events and committee initiatives.
- Track performance of digital content and recommend improvements.
🧭 What We’re Looking For:
– Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management
-A creative eye with solid photography/videography and editing chops
-Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut & more
-Excellent writing and communication skills
-Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
-Bonus points for sailing or sporting club experience

Receptionist - Immediate Start
Are you a people person with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? Do you love the idea of working in a vibrant, welcoming environment with stunning waterfront views? If so, Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is the place for you!
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and organised Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing exceptional service in a variety of settings. This is a permanent part-time position (2-3 days per week).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Warmly greeting and assisting members and guests as they arrive at the club.
- Managing guest check-ins and handling membership sign-ins smoothly and efficiently.
- Responding to inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Performing general admin tasks, including updating our member database and assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Supporting management and staff with ad hoc duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (ideally in a reception or hospitality setting).
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine, approachable demeanour.
- Excellent communication abilities, both in-person and online.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and database systems.
- Experience with cash handling and basic banking processes.
- Flexibility to work public holidays and take on occasional annual leave coverage.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
