COMMODORE'S
GALA BALL

Supporting Alfred's Community Sailing

You're Invited to the Commodore's Gala Ball

in support of the Alfred’s Community Sailing Program | HANSA Class World Championship 2025

“sailing for everyone”

On Saturday 16 November, the club is holding the Commodore’s Gala Ball in support of the Alfred’s Community Sailing Program (ACS) a special event to raise much-needed funds for the Alfred’s Community Sailing Program that continues to “Help people rehabilitate through sailing”.

The Alfred’s Community Sailing Program is supporting the 2025 HANSA Class World Championships that will see 150 competitors and their coaches and assistants to Pittwater. The World Championship and Para Olympic events will be host by RPAYC.

While generously supported by the RPAYC, ACS needs funds to enable the program to grow and continue to develop new initiatives to help people in need. In 2022 we raised $ 38,000 for 2025 the GOAL is $50,000.

The RPAYC will be transformed into a phenomenal, one-night-only, Ball Room.

The Gala Ball will include a superb 3-course dinner, silent and live auctions, and live entertainment.

Tickets are available for individual seats or book a table of 10. As well as Platinum, Gold, and Silver Corporate Packages.

We look forward to seeing you on the night.

What is Alfred’s Community Sailing (ACS)?

The Club has a long history of delivering a sailing experience to support and enhance the life of people in need. Supported by RPAYC, the ACS program provides sailing and family days for veterans and the community.

This program has been life changing for participants, building social networks and self-confidence from exciting, safe and fun days on the water. Over 4,000 participants have been part of the program since it’s inception in 2013.

ACS needs your help to enable it to continue and expand to other community groups and individuals in need.

Some of the many community groups supported by the ACS program include;
  • Current and past members of the Australian Defence Force, through
