The 3rd Bluewater Pointscore race was held on Saturday the 13th of June, we had a light Westerly and an ebb tide saw a small fleet dominated by double handers at Barrenjoey for the start.
We proceeded to work our way up the coast in a moderate nor nor easterly rounding Cabbage Tree Island in a light and very fickle breeze in the dark pre dawn of Sunday morning.
Most of the return leg was sailed in a light Nor Westerly with a sting in the tail as we hit the Southerly front a few miles from the finish.
Race 4 of the series is the Newcastle Return Race 27 June.
