On Friday 13 February, the Pittwater Regatta returns for three huge days of racing across one of Australia’s most spectacular courses. From flat water racing inside Pittwater to the ocean swell rolling off Barrenjoey, crews can expect big breeze, big kites and even bigger smiles as they send it through long downwind runs framed by bush covered headlands.

This year features an expanded program including the ORC NSW Championship, the Pittwater Cup, the Super 40 Series and the new Performance 40 Inter-Club Challenge Cup. 

The Performance 40 Inter-Club Challenge Cup is 3 boat teams from a yacht/sailing club, meeting the Performance 40 criteria in the NoR, racing for club bragging rights! Enter the Pittwater Cup and nominate your team. 

Boats entering the Pittwater Cup or Super 40 divisions are also invited to join the Invitational Short Offshore Race (Cat 4) on Friday 13th February 2026, a great way to get warmed up for the weekend ahead. 

Whether you are chasing championship glory or simply keen for fast, fun racing with mates, the 2026 regatta delivers something for everyone.

After racing, the vibe shifts ashore with relaxed afternoons on the lawn, cold drinks, laughter and plenty of stories from the day’s action. Crews can also test their skills and nerve in the iconic Spinnaker Pack and Hoist Competition which is equal parts chaos and genius and always a crowd favourite.
