Nacra 15 Open WeekendRPAYC was the host of the Nacra 15 Open Weekend across 18/19 September. With support from past and present Olympic sailors, World Champions, Australia Sailing and RPAYC, we welcomed 17 enthusiastic young sailors to trial the Nacra 15. The Nacra 15 is the Australia Sailing pathway boat to the Nacra 17 Olympic Class. RPAYC members Sam Dalton and Alana Harrison were recently selected into the Australian National Youth Squad as part of the Nacra 15 program, and they led the way in introducing these fantastic high-performance boats to a group of 12 – 19 year old sailors. We were joined by Nacra’s Australian distributor Craig Fraser who generously drove from Brisbane to bring a second boat down to support the event.
