With the formal Transfer of Lease for Bosun’s Locker in the final stages of completion, RPAYC would like to sincerely thank Peter and Leonie Antill for their almost 40 years of dedicated service to our club members and visitors.  On behalf of our Board and members we wish Peter and Leonie all the best for their retirement from the chandlery (Peter will continue in his role at North Sails Mona Vale).

Peter and Leonie have been the owners of Bosun’s Locker since purchasing the business in the 1970’s.

Peter commented, “Leonie and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the members for their custom over the many years at the club and whilst we will no longer see them in the chandlery, we look forward to seeing them out on the water’’.

This year also marks Peter’s 50 years of membership at the club and we look forward to celebrating when restrictions are eased.

RPAYC congratulates Phill and Janiece Bate who along with their son Jack have taken ownership of the newly named RIGGTECH BOSUN’S LOCKER NEWPORT.

Jack commented, ‘’We are open for business throughout this lockdown as a hardware store and look forward to meeting you all and hearing from you with any ideas or suggestions to better serve you, our loyal members!’’.
