Dear Members,
I hope that you are well.
We plan to reopen the Clubhouse this Sunday (10 January 2021) subject to Northern Zone restrictions being lifted on Saturday (9 January 2021). All going well the Northern Zone of the Northern Beaches will re-join Greater Sydney and access to boating, boating services and our Food & Beverage offering will once again be available to members and guests and we hope that our gym is also operational to members.
Recent changes to a number of restrictions have been difficult to keep up with. With only 4 days to the reopening of the Club there is still some uncertainty on various aspects of our operation. We will keep you updated over the coming days.
All Members and guests signing into the Club will now be required to use the Service NSW QR code and app. You can download the app here. According to the latest information received from Clubs NSW, in addition to the Service NSW QR Code, there may also be a requirement for members to still present their membership card and for guests to sign in as before. We hope to have this clarified by Sunday, but ask that you have the Service NSW app downloaded on your phone and have your membership card available at reception on entry. Should you require any assistance to enter the Club, our reception staff will be happy to help.
When the Club does reopen the restrictions will be tighter than they were prior to the Northern Beaches lockdown. For example, venue capacities have again been reduced to 1 person per 4 square metres and the wearing of face masks in some settings is mandatory. We will provide you with further details when the status of the Northern Zone becomes known.
Please look after yourself and those around you.
Kind regards,
Craig Evans
