5.5m Class Australian Championship

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club experienced an outstanding few days of competition on Pittwater during the 2026 5.5m Class Australian Championship. From 1 – 3 March, competitors came together to test their skills and enjoy the vibrant 5.5m Class community.

• 1st Rhapsody – Tom Spithill (Winner of the Gold Cup & DÁrcy Shield)
• 2nd Alpha Crucis – Martin Cross
• 3rd Antares – Theresa Hamilton (Winner of the Handicap Trophy for the best boat under handicap that has not won another Trophy)
• 4th Sic Em Rex II – David Hamilton
• 5th Baragoola – Jason Antill (Won the Silver Cup for Best Classic Boat)
