2022 Optimist Nationals

The Australian International Optimist Association, Georges River 16ft Sailing Club and Musto put on a brilliant 2022 Optimist Nationals.
The sailing in Botany Bay was testing for both Open and Intermediate fleets, with strong winds. The Green Fleet had an excellent regatta racing in front of the club.

RPAYC Kids (and parents!) did an amazing job in what were at times horrible conditions including held on shore for tsunami warning, and dealing with wet weather, strong winds and waves out on Port Botany, all are commended for their tenacity!
