We had 17 boats registered with over 20 boats in total to join the fleet on the water for Round 4 of the ZHIK Centreboard on Sunday 29 October.
Several ILCAs, a couple of WASZPs, Optis, Vipers, SKUD18’s and a Manly Junior, all set out in Big Pond to race in pleasant conditions with light winds out of the northeast.
The majority of the Optis were away at the ACT Optimist Championships at Canberra Yacht Club, and several WASZPs were at the Queensland State Championship at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.
In the ILCA6’s, it was Lyndall Patterson on Spindle who won the first race, with Colin Beashel on 210 winning the second race. Well done to Colin in winning the third race.
In the ILCA 7’s, it was Stuart Holdsworth on Full Cream Milk who won all three races.
In the Vipers, it was Nicholas Reader on Ruel Rigging Australia who won all three races.
In the Waszp’s, it was Sarah Ross on Scrat who won the first race and Charlie Snell on Bravado winning race number two. Congratulations to Sarah who won the third race.
In the Skud 18’s it was Linda Buchan on Jim Brown who won all three races.
A big thanks to all our volunteers who jumped in and helped out with short notice.
