CLUB WAITLISTS & STORAGE APPLICATIONS

RPAYC has an objective “to promote the sport of yachting and boating” and, as such, our aim first and foremost, is to increase participation in Club sailing.

The Club facility provides a key opportunity to increase participation by prioritising storage facilities for Members actively participating in Club racing, cruising and centreboard.

The allocation of facilities and the ongoing occupancy of a Club facility, is determined against key criteria; facilities are not allocated on a first come basis. At present the Club has a waitlist for a number of storage facilities (see list below) and applications are considered against this criteria in order to determine the allocation of a facility.

These criteria are:

• participation (vessel) in Club yacht racing, cruising and centreboard
• membership tenure
• date required from
• utilisation of Boatyard services
• Access considerations, for example water depth and vessel beam (for marina)

EXISTING FACILITY HOLDER – PARTICIPATION

When demand exceeds availability for any Club facility and where participating Members are on a waitlist, the Board may review and terminate a facility licence agreement where the facility holder is not participating.
