Club Christmas Party in Full Swing at the RPAYC!
The festive season has officially arrived at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, with the much-anticipated Club Christmas Party now in full swing. With sunshine, a sea breeze, and a whole lot of Santa-approved cheer, the event has drawn an excited gathering of members and families ready to celebrate in true Pittwater style.
Members and guests arrived with their “merry crews” in tow, filling the outdoor spaces with laughter, colour and Christmas spirit. DJ Dean has been setting the tone since the party kicked off, spinning feel-good tunes and festive favourites that have everyone, kids included, dancing.
One of the biggest highlights so far has been the arrival of Santa Claus, who made a grand entrance via water to greet excited children. Santa has been chatting, posing for photos and spreading cheer, calling the RPAYC one of his favourite stops on the pre-Christmas tour.
“It’s wonderful to see so many bright smiles here today,” Santa said. “The kids at RPAYC are definitely on the nice list this year!”
The family fun is in full swing, with kids flocking to Alicia the Face Painter and Lara the Balloon Twister, who are creating colourful characters, Christmas crowns, and balloon creations. Their stations on the lawn have quickly become the party hotspots.
Food and beverage offerings are keeping everyone well-fed and refreshed, with the Bistro menu and a selection of Christmas specials proving extremely popular. Children are happily diving into the dedicated kids’ menu, while adults enjoy festive drink specials, perfect for a relaxed afternoon by the water.
With sunshine, music, family entertainment and the unmistakable joy of the holiday season filling the air, the Club Christmas Party is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the year. Festivities will continue through the afternoon, so guests are encouraged to stay, soak it all in, and enjoy a very merry day at the RPAYC.
