Ready to take the helm? Marine Rescue NSW Broken Bay is restarting its public NSW Boat Driving Licence Theory Courses and Exams, with the first course taking place on Sunday 25 October 2026. This is a great opportunity to build your boating knowledge ahead of summer.

Learn from qualified Marine Rescue volunteer instructors with extensive on-water experience, local knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety. Held at the Marine Rescue base at Rowland Reserve, Bayview, the course runs for approximately five hours, including the exam, and covers boating safety, navigation and the marine environment. 

In recognition of the Club’s support, RPAYC members can access an exclusive Sponsor Perk:

  • Adults aged 16 and over: $150
  • Young adults aged 12–15: $130
