The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Pittwater, hosted the exciting Finns NSW Championship for the 2024-2025 season, bringing together some of the finest sailors to test their mettle on the waters of Pittwater. Competitors faced challenging conditions, with breezes ranging from 14 knots to gusts of 18 knots, ensuring a thrilling contest over the course of the races.
After three intense races, Ian McKillop has emerged as the leader, demonstrating his skill and consistency across the fleet. However, the competition remains fierce, with 2023 champion Rob McMillan just two points behind, eager to reclaim his title. McMillan’s strong showing in the opening races sets up an exciting battle between these top sailors as the championship progresses.
