What’s the Women’s Twilight Series All About?
The RPAYC Women’s Twilight Series is a celebration of women in sailing, and it takes place every other Tuesday, starting on the 17th of October, extending all the way through to March 2024. In this series, inclusivity reigns supreme. While it’s a predominantly women-run event, there is room for a touch of masculinity, with one man allowed per boat (typically the boat owner) two if the boats exceeds 45ft in length. This ensures a perfect blend of perspectives on deck.
For those who haven’t yet taken the plunge into the world of sailing, RPAYC’s Women’s Twilight Series makes it incredibly easy for newbies to dive right in. If you’re not a member of RPAYC or any other sailing club, don’t fret – you can easily obtain a sail pass that covers all your sails with Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club. It’s a quick and straightforward process, taking just a couple of minutes. Simply visit their SailPass page, and you’re good to go! RPAYC is the ONLY club I have come across that offers all sail passes free of charge!
