Australian Sailing (AS) is pleased to announce that the new Club Equipment Auditor (CEA) course is now live online and available to AS members.
The course is aimed at accrediting club volunteers to provide a free safety service for sailing racing. Accredited Auditors then ensure safety standards are consistently met through equipment compliance.
To act as an Auditor in Australia accreditation is a requirement. Both the Club and National Equipment Auditor Qualifications require the completion of this online course for accreditation.
The CEA course reviews: the Cat 3-7 auditing forms, all category specific updates to the Special Regulations, procedures to be utilised whist auditing and where to obtain specific auditing information from the 2021-2024 Racing Rules of Sailing and Special Regulations.
The Club Equipment Auditor course can be found on the AS website via the Course Finder.
If you have any further questions regarding EA’s accreditation and education, please feel free to contact Officials@sailing.org.au .
