Entry

Entry is still open however; there is a late entry fee that now applies to entries from the 17th of March 2023 – if you know of fellow skippers interested in entering, let them know and we would be very happy for you to forward this information to encourage them to enter.

Rating Deadline

The rating deadline for IRC and ORC certificates, changes or amendments is Friday 24th March 2023; 1700hrs. Changes after the rating deadline shall not be valid for the race; except to correct an error by the Rating Authority.

Boats with multiple IRC certificates shall nominate the certificate they are using for the race by the Rating Deadline.

Berthing

Berthing at the RPAYC is included in the entry fee from Thursday 30th March 2023- Friday 31st March 2023, contact the Waterfront team to arrange berthing if you have not already done so; waterfront@rpayc.com.au

Coffs Harbour

For berthing at the finish, Coffs Harbour Marina, please contact the marina directly: admin.coffs@starmarinas.com.au

A recent survey of the depths entering Coffs Harbour and the Coffs Harbour Marina shows a minimum depth of 4.5m at low water, the shallowest area is at the end of the old jetty.

Coffs Harbour Yacht Club will have a little runabout guiding boats into the marina and towards their berths.

Crew Transfer

If you are not intending to enter Coffs Harbour but wish to transfer crew or equipment; the local dive centre in Coffs Harbour Jetty Dive Centre may be able to assist. Contact them directly. Tel. (02) 6651 1611.

Crew Lists

Please update crew lists in SailSys complete with PLB details (HEX ID). If the crew have AIS MOB beacons please also provide the MMSI numbers on the form provided.

Official Race Merchandise

A great range of merchandise is available to purchase online before race day, from Polo shirts, event T-Shirts, Caps and Jackets in various colours and sizes. All orders can be collected from RPAYC on race day at the merchandise tent.

Race Briefing – Thursday 30th March – 1830hrs

Race Briefing is scheduled for Thursday 30th March at 1830hrs, Halyards Bar area of the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club – the skippers briefing is not mandatory however all skippers/navigators and crew are invited to attend.

Halyards bar and restaurant will be open so feel free to join us for dinner, all crew, friends, and family are invited to attend; it is a great opportunity to catch up with your fellow competitors and an excuse to have a bit of a get together before this famous race.

Baggage Service: RPAYC to Coffs Harbour Marina by Event Master Transport

There will be a baggage transport service between RPAYC and Coffs Harbour Marina.

Bags will be collected from the RPAYC on Friday 31st March between 0700hrs and 1130hrs. The price list and booking form is available at www.eventmastertransport.com.au payment is at the bag drop.

Bags can be collected at Coffs Harbour Yacht Club on arrival.

Tracker Collection / Installation

Trackers will be installed from Wednesday 29th March at the RPAYC. Boats that are not berthed at RPAYC before the race should contact the Sailing Office to arrange tracker installation.

Trackers will be collected at the finish of the race. If a boat is not intending to enter Coffs Harbour at the finish then the tracker shall come ashore with any crew transfers.

Coffs Harbour Marina – Finish

RPAYC has teamed up with Coffs Harbour Yacht Club and Coffs Harbour Marina to provide food and drinks at the finish of the race. Presentations are scheduled to be held at yacht club on Sunday 2nd April at 1400hrs.
