2019 Seldén for Sailing Ice Breaker Series
The Seldén for Sailing Ice Breaker Winter Series is a fantastic opportunity for Centreboard sailors, young and older, to get out on the water, racing and training over winter. With the early start time of 0930hrs racing maximises the use of the early winter breezes allowing entrants to finish back at the RPAYC Club House to enjoy lunch. For Series entrants, lunch is included in the entry fee and or available for all others on the day from the Halyards Bistro. BBQ tickets can be purchased on the day from the Halyards bistro for $18 (mem) and $22 (non mem).

On the Day
Cars and trailers may enter the lower carpark to unload, simply buzz at the boom gate for Reception. Following this, all trailers must then be taken over and left in the Crystal bay carpark.
A number of boats will rig in designated areas in the lower carpark. Please ensure the concrete area on the lawn is kept free for these people/boats to access the launching ramp.
Due to the restricted space on the lawn, it is essential that all boats are taken home on Sunday after racing. Any boat left overnight without a storage agreement will be impounded by the club and a temporary storage fee will be charged on collection.
Rigged boats that are not competing in the Ice Breaker Series will be moved in to the RPAYC car park and or Boat Yard to free up rigging spaces on the lawn for competitors.
Showers and change rooms are located in the Jack Gale Centre and main clubhouse. Where possible, sailors in wet gear should only enter the main club house change rooms via the laneway between the club and the boatyard. Lockers are also available to be used, see Reception for a key.
Sign on and off will be located at the Jack Gale Centre.
The regatta briefing will be on the centreboard lawn.
Halyards Bistro is open from 0800hrs for Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Post racing BBQ will be hosted in the Halyards Annex. Additional tickets for lunch can be purchased from the Bistro for the BBQ.
