Dear BWPS Entrant,
Race 2 of the Club Marine Bluewater Pointscore Series, Cabbage Tree
Island is scheduled on Friday 21 November, 1900hrs start.
Entrants are requested to confirm their intention to compete and advise
the Sailing Office when they have completed their Crew List for
Cabbage Tree race.
This is a YA Special Regulations Category 2 event, please refer to the
BWPS Notice of Race for additional entry requirements (in particular
NoR 2, 3, 5, Appendix B, C, D, E). Boats with outstanding Cat 2 items
shall have to have these sighted and signed off to be eligible to
compete.
All entrants will need to provide the Sailing Office via their online entry
(refer to NoR) the following items:
" Life raft details.
" EPIRB details (1 per lift raft)
" Insurance details for boat
" Personal Location Beacons for each crew.
" HF Call Sign Details (Radio Inspection Certificate) or if not
using HF Radio their Satellite phone contact number.
" Boat mobile phone details
" Crew First Aiders
" Crew Marine Radio Operators
" Crew Experience details
" Crew SSSC details
" Digital Photo of boat (as uploaded in MyTopyacht Profile)
All entrant will need to provide the Sailing Office electronic or hardcopy
at sailing@rpayc.com.au (if not already on file) the following items (refer
to NoR for full details):
" Stability verification
" Hull Construction verification
" Radio Inspection Certificate
" YA Category 2 Special Regulations Compliance Certificate
signed by a National Equipment Auditor (NEA).
" Rating Certificates (if changed)
" Signed declaration of compliance and disclaimer and
acknowledgement of rights form.
Entrants are reminded of the following details (for full details refer to the
Sailing Instructions):
Boats retiring are to advise the Race Committee via text messaging on
0427 477 854 or the Sailing Office as soon as practical
" Position Reports are to be made at 1500hrs (21/11), 0830hrs
and 2030hrs (22/11) if still racing and submitted to the Race Committee
via text messaging giving its BOAT NAME; SAIL NUMBER; POSITION
(latitude as a 4-digit number and longitude as a 5-digit number and
whether proceeding North or South.
All boats shall maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 16.
When finishing boats shall text message their finish time to the Race
Committee giving its BOAT NAME; SAIL NUMBER; and FINISH TIME
(within 30 minutes of finishing) Declaration Forms shall also be
completed at submitted to the Sailing Office.
Boats with AIS transponders are requested to turn and leave on for the
duration for the race.

Halyards Bistro will be open for takeaway snacks, rolls and drinks from
1630-1730hrs. Post Race Halyards will be open till approximately
1830hrs with a hot dish available to be purchased ($10) or if closed a
'wet dish' will be available in the Annex, access via the rear external
gym stairs (adjacent the playground).
