SPORTS BOAT AND ONE DESIGN MINI REGATTA SERIES
| Description: | The Sports Boat and One Design Mini Regatta Series is a series of fast paced one design races featuring windward leeward sprints. The series is held over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday and caters for both experienced and new one design and sports boat teams. |
| Race Format: | Windward/Leeward sprints. |
| Race Length Average: | Up to 45 minutes per race. |
| Series: | The Sports Boat and One Design Mini Regatta Series consists of 5 Saturday rounds with each round consisting of up to 3 races. |
| Starting Times: | From 1200hrs. Or 1100hrs on seasonal regatta days. |
| Divisions: | Divisions are allocated for Etchells, Melges 24s, Elliott 7’s, 5.5m, 11m, Vipers and other sports boats designs or mixed classes. |
| Handicap: | Scoring is determined by one design allocation, Performance Handicap System (PHS), EHC or ORC or Sports boat Measurement System (SMS) where a valid certificate is provided. |
| Special Regulations requirement: | The Mini Regatta Series is a Australia Sailing (AS) Category 7 event. |
