Welcome to the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, winner 2017/18 Club Marina of the Year. Our vision is to provide a world-class yachting facility that attracts and involves members in the enjoyment of the sport of yachting and sailing.  

The Club’s Waterfront facilities are maintained and managed by a dedicated team of experienced professionals who have a passion for the industry and who are on hand to provide assistance with your vessel.  As a Member and facility holder you will benefit from the convienience of the Club services and discounts including;

  • On demand tender service to Club and private moorings*
  • Service wharf and work berth access
  • Complimentary shore power lead testing

As a facility holder we will keep you well informed and as a member you will receive regular communication from the Club and the Waterfront Department.  We aim to make sure that you are able to store your vessel with confidence and that your sailing experience is made easy.

RPAYC facility is an ideal base to race from and to cruise and exploring the pristine waterways of Pittwater. 

We would like to invite you to speak with the Membership Department and inspect the facilities so you can start enjoying the Club, convenience, service and discounts available to Club members.

STORAGE OPTIONS

Marina Berth
A full floating concrete marina with 342 berths which can accommodate vessels up to 30 metres (98’) and depth up to 15 metres (50’). Berths are accessible 24 hours a day and each berth has shore power and water.

Mooring
The Club has 18 permanent moorings all within close proximity to the Club. Club moorings can accommodate vessels up to 22 metres (72’) and a complimentary 7 day tender service is available to and from your vessel.

Hardstand
Two major hardstand areas are available accommodating up to 83 vessels. The hardstand cranes and boat ramp provide members with an easy and safe method of storing, launching and retrieving vessels.

Centreboard Racking or Rigged
Centreboard storage for up to 100 centreboard dinghies. The RPAYC prides itself on providing a fun and safe learning environment for budding sailors. 

Recreational Moorings
13 recreational moorings are available to Club members and are conveniently located within Cowan Creek and Pittwater. (Map available in 'Members Only' area of website)

Dinghy Rack
30 racks available with easy access areas.

Locker
Large storage lockers are available for the storage of your sailing needs such as sails.  Air conditioned and secure storage.

Car Parking
Full boat owners enjoy unrestricted access to all parking facilities at the Club.  

If you would like to enquire about a permanent facility at The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club please submit a permanent waitlist application here.  The Waterfront Department will on receipt of the waitlist application review the specifications of your vessel against the facilities available and will contact you directly.

About RPAYC

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club - RPAYC is a yacht racing and sailing club based on Pittwater.

The yacht club offers year round inshore and offshore racing, cruising, centreboard dinghy racing, sail training and courses plus has a large marina accommodating up to 352 vessels.

There is also a modern boatyard with comprehensive marine services to help maintain your vessel.

Membership, including family membership is now available.
