Berthing, Moorings and Storage

Nestled on the foreshore of Pittwater (Broken Bay) within the suburb of Newport, the Club offers state of the art facilities and convenient access to the waterways and the attractions on the Northern Beaches. The Club is recognised on a national and international level as a “5 Gold Anchor Marina“, an industry accreditation scheme designed to assist marina users with their marina selection and to provide a customer service focused framework to marinas to continually improve service to consumers. The Club is actively committed to sustainable environmental practices and holds a level 3 “Clean Marina” accreditation as well as a “Fish Friendly” certification.

The 342 berth marina can accommodate vessels up to 30 metres (98′) and depth up to 15 metres (50′) and the depth available enables deep keeled yachts to berth. Casual moorings are all within close proximity to the Club and can accommodate vessels up to 22 metres (72′) and a complimentary 7 day tender service is available to and from your vessel.

Full boat owners enjoy unrestricted access to all parking facilities at the Club. The Waterfront Department will, on receipt of the waitlist application, review the specifications of your vessel against the facilities available and contact you directly.

Storage Options

A full floating concrete marina with 342 berths which can accommodate vessels up to 30 metres (98′) and depth up to 15 metres (50′). Berths are accessible 24 hours a day and each berth has shore power and water.
The Club has 18 permanent moorings all within close proximity to the Club. Club moorings can accommodate vessels up to 22 metres (72′) and a complimentary 7 day tender service is available to and from your vessel.
Two major hardstand areas are available accommodating up to 83 vessels. The hardstand cranes and boat ramp provide members with an easy and safe method of storing, launching and retrieving vessels.
Centreboard storage for up to 100 centreboard dinghies. The RPAYC prides itself on providing a fun and safe learning environment for budding sailors.
13 recreational moorings are available to Club members and are conveniently located within Cowan Creek and Pittwater.
30 racks available with easy access areas.

Large storage lockers are available for the storage of your sailing needs such as sails. Air conditioned and secure storage.
