Cruising Information March

Easter Cruise to Sydney Harbour & Alternate First Friday 2-5 April

With the weather forecast for Easter now available, plans are now in place for a cruise to the Harbour. Once out of Pittwater and around Barrenjoey Headland there is not much debris in the water so it is looking good to sail down with a northerly wind.

 The cruise plan is:

  1. Sail down to Port Jackson on thursday or friday
  2. Anchor at Shore Beach / Little Manly Cove
  3. We are holding our First Friday on Saturday with lunch at the Ivanhoe Hotel at Manly (to support a northern beaches business post Covid lockdowns)
  4. Sunday sail and spend the night at Sugarloaf Bay (under the Spit Bridge). For Spit Bridge opening times refer to the RMS web site (https://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/maritime/using-waterways/navigation-communication/bridge-opening/spit-bridge.html)
  5. Monday return to Manly, afternoon at Q-station or sail back to Pittwater

So we have an idea of numbers especially for the First Friday on Saturday lunch please fill in the One Minute Form, put in “Easter Cruise” as the cruise name. Click HERE for One Minute Form.

If you just want to join us for lunch and not join the cruise, please fill in the form.

As usual keep your radio on Channel 77 to keep up to date with activities.

Estuary Cruise – Patonga Pub Lunch & Broken Bay 1-2 May

With the easing of Covid restrictions it is time to return to Patonga Pub. The plan is to sail up on Saturday morning to grab a table for lunch. Our destination in Broken Bay for the Saturday night will be decided on the day depending on the wind direction.
The Palm Beach Ferry arrives around 11:30 so you should aim to be ashore prior to this to avoid the “crowds”.
