The winter Green Fleet program is for both current Green Fleet (Intro or otherwise) and graduating Tackers 3 Sailors. The program runs on Sunday mornings from 09:00 - 11:00. The enrolment fee includes race entry in the Seldén for Sailing Ice Breaker Series 2018. The Ice Breaker Series is the centreboard racing series of racing held on the third Sunday morning of each month between (and including) May to August. For more information on what the Seldén for Sailing Ice Breaker Series 2018 is all about, please see this linkThe Green Fleeters get their own race start at the Ice Breaker Series and their coach is there every step of the way to guide them through the race. On all the other weekends, the Green Fleet course offers sailors the opportunity to improve their boat handling and tuning skills in addition to practising basic racing skills under the tuition of an experienced, Australian Sailing (AS) qualified coach.

Dates & Times

6th May -  23rd September 2018. Training Days are 09:00 - 11:00. Please note, the rigged and ready time is 09:00.

Race Days are: 20th May, 17th June, 22nd July and 19th August. Please note the timing for Ice Breaker is as follows:

09:00 Race Briefing (Be rigged and ready for this time)

10:00 First Warning Signal.

12:00 No Further Warning Signals

Approx.12:30 Back on the lawn, de rig.

Approx.13:00 BBQ and Presso

Please note: No training or racing is scheduled on the 10th June (Queens Birthday LWE), 8th & 15th July (School Holidays).

Price: $490

Please note this price includes 14 training sessions over winter in addition to the 2018 Seldén for Sailing Ice Breaker Series entry fee.

Course Enrollment

To register for this course click the 'Book' button above. Courses are dependent on numbers, if we are unable to run the course due to a lack of participants we will let you know as soon as possible and fully refund you.

Please note for all the below courses, the following conditions apply:

A minimum of 6 participants is needed for each course to proceed. If minimum numbers aren't reached by Thursday 26th April 2018, the Club will endeavour to combine courses to ensure some form of training still occurs for those who want it. If training is cancelled due to insufficient numbers full refunds will be issued.

Maximum numbers for each course will be 8, if this number is exceeded, the Club will endeavour to find coaching staff to comply with AS guidelines. Volunteer parent safety boat drivers may be required to allow the course to go ahead. Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis.

Payment is required to confirm a participant's position on the course.

Enrollment in each course will be reviewed by the Head Coach ensuring suitable course allocation.
