Crystal Bay hardstand Works

Dear Members,

Please be advised that we will be connecting temporary power back onto the Crystal Bay hardstand for lights, GPO’s and the boom gates on Tuesday 13th March, this is a few days later than scheduled due to the delay’s with the concrete pour and I do apologise for the inconvenience, the permanent power supply is still 3 – 4 weeks away while we wait for the construction of a new power pole for the relocation of the new power distribution board

Update on the rest of the works

The mounting bracket templates for the restricted mobility accesses gangway and the floating ramp with be marked and drilled on Monday 12th. The gangway and floating ramp will be fitted into place on Tuesday the 13th March, we will need to move a few boats around on the hardstand to allow the crane to get into place, due to the limited space we won’t be able to relocate boats to a particular spot so we will “make space” for the crane where we can, once the works are completed we will relocate members vessels back to their original spots. The block retaining wall is under construction now and should be completed by the end of the week, back filling of the retaining wall, the trench on the southern side and the drainage in front of the retaining wall will be completed by the end of next week

Works completion date (not including permanent power hook up) is scheduled for the end of March

As always please contact me if you foresee any issues or require further information

Kind Regards,
